Condé Nast Traveler, USA has named The Lodge at Kauri Cliffs as the No. 1 Lodge in Australia and Pacific Nations on the 2012 Gold List: The World’s Best Places to Stay. It’s the only property in New Zealand to make the list and with a whopping score of 98.4, that’s special!

After leaving the Raceway B&B in Invercargill we head northeast to spend a night in a cottage at beautiful Moeraki Beach.
