Fashion and Art collide
Terrace Downs launches its 2012 art offerings with a well-priced and aptly titled “Fashionably Passionate” exhibit by Nelson-based artist Deeanne Hobbs. Noted for exploring the passion of connecting art and fashion together, her creative works in mixed media uniquely meld modernity with revival images that harken back to an “Antique-Vintage” era.
Exhibition curator Rachael Inch is obviously thrilled to present this brilliant artist to guests at Terrace Downs Resort and tells us, “These works … will absolutely captivate by taking you back in time to tell a meaningful story of a modern world that connects with the heart. Deanne’s creations leave you wanting for more and she’ll be available to discuss her creations and inspiration with us all at the Opening evening.”
Terrace Downs is inviting all to attend the Opening evening on Thursday 2nd February at 6:30 pm (To be seated by 7:oo pm.) The delectable buffet is priced at $45 pp for the whole evening with a complimentary wine or beer on arrival.
